DPhil Research aims

During my undergraduate degree I gained a particular interest in the neurobiology of the brain and how this is translated into everyday behaviours. Additionally, I have always been interested in clinical psychology; understanding what is occurring in psychological disorders and how it is best to treat them. My D.Phil. reflects these interests, allowing me to use neuroimaging techniques to investigate the mechanisms behind involuntary memories and flashbacks, building towards a clinical neuroscience model of flashbacks.
