Emily Holmes has been awarded:
The British Psychological Society DCP May Davidson Award for 2007.
"The May Davidson Award is defined as an award for clinical psychologists who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of clinical psychology within the first 10 years of their work as a qualified clinical psychologist. The award is given in honour of the late May Davidson."
The BPS (British Psychological Society) Spearman Medal for 2010.
An annual award for early career work "in recognition of outstanding published work in psychology representing a significant body of research output in terms of theoretical contributions made, originality (including innovation in methods or techniques), and impact of the findings."
The Comenius Award 2011.
This award was given to the European Federation of Psychologists Association (EFPA) by the Union of Psychologists’ Associations of the Czech Republic (UPA CR), to be awarded to a young psychologist from Europe who has made an original contribution to psychology.
