During my studies I have gained an interest in both experimental psychopathology and clinical psychology, and particularly in how experimental research on cognitive biases may contribute to the development of new treatment techniques of psychological disorders.

My Master Thesis was on “Testing the efficacy of Attention Training Technique (ATT: Wells, 2000) on two subjects with anxious and depressive symptomatologies”, and my Master in Clinical Psychology Thesis was entitled “Implementing and testing Behavioral Activation (Jacobson, Martell & Dimidjian, 2001) on a group of patients with chronic depression”.  Joining EPACT allows me to combine both of my interests. My DPhil title is "Modulating cognitive bias in the context of depression, mental imagery, emotion and behaviour".
